attended my first church wedding.. jac and bobby. pretty cupcake! kinda vulgar.
went to the Asian Civilisation Museum to view the terra-cotta, Italian for "baked earth". couldnt have been a better time to view this, considering the "ghost festival" just ended... ppl were burning houses/cars/money, amongst other luxury items made from paper to the deceased. Emperors/ impt figures in ancient times received just as much stuff with a diff make; clay. the most impressive's the army of soldiers! omg... imagine the life-sized figurines in your tomb.. this day, we dont really have much space left. even if one has the $, there's no way we can bury loads of chanel and ysl to "accompany" us to the other side..photos are still with the bf. so we moved on to view the rest of the exhibition available at the ACM.. Chinese history stuff.... saw a huge pair of "qi ye" and "ba ye" statue and the below, some of my favourite.. cant read (less, understand) all the words on the "shan zi" but its such intricate art that makes me deeply feel for the level of discipline one has in the past. today, 2011, how many people are able to not multi-task and feel that its normal. as we are typing on our laptops, we are listening to music. as we are waiting for transport, we are checking facebook and Iris app at the same time, maybe even reading the ad onboard trains and buses and still simultaneously be able to spot sth odd from the corner of one's eyes to gossip abt that girl wearing so ah lian.
Doing away with gifts (again) this year. I really looked forward to receiving a gift from the bf but dinner's fine. sigh.
Dinner at Morton's, 2nd time there, steak's been 10/10 the last time and it didnt disappoint this time either. the side of hashbrown potato( i dont know if this is as repetitive as blue colour..) reminds me of Rosti from Marche, maybe if you are going for that, just sour cream on the side will do, dont want bacon to overpower your beef. I usually dont like mushy desserts, which is prolly why the grand manier souffle left me wondering, "why did i order that?!" lol, not that it's not good, just like the $57 by the glass Cabernet, "delish!" proclaimed the bf with his CSW(certified specialist of wine) and the sommelier of Mandarin Oriental, just because I prefer white.
Lots of attention showered on us while we were there, so many ppl came to talk to us. what a coincidence to have ppl u know and who all chose to have dinner at the same time and place! grrr.felt a little disturbed though. doesnt help that our conversations were shorter (still trying to figure if those ppl took too much of our time from each other) than those ppl combined. hate. it. very. much.

going to reach the 2nd year anniversary soon!!! went to
no signboard -bamboo clam(7/10),deer meat(7/10),chilli crab(5.5/10)and max brenners for a dose of high.
dear started work at APPETITE already..and already working very hard!i shd start too! exams like no exams like that, i'm damn relax..i dunno why!
lets see....we have PASTA HOUSE's potato salad (9/10), MAJESTIC HOTEL's durian desert thingy "bing huo liu lian" (8/10), WILDHONEY's eggbenedict (5/10), MAX BRENNERS' dark chocolate (9.5/10)
and how am i going to lose weight to be hot? by sheer day dreaming, i'm sure i'll get somewhere :) smile.

A lot of service staff wished us just now, our booth even had specially shaped things decorated. neat!
EXTREMELY pleased with the service at Morton's.The steak's out of the world too. surprised its not michellin-ed.
although my face looks like shit: 1st time using BB cream, WHITE like a ghost not kidding.and there's emerging mini zits!
i've a great time at Morton's. on our palate:
five onion french soup
crab cakes (my very first time trying CC,they used REAL crab meat,one kind of shiok!)
single Fillet Mignon medium rare for me was perfect.
the bf had his usual blue DOUBLE FM (obviously doggy-bagged)
souffle (its gd i guess for souffle lovers)
today i realise i dont like souffle. not quite the souffle person. hmmm, its quite difficult to think of a food i dont like actually. amazing sudden realization on my part.
food i dont like :
1. Inerts (esp pork)
2. Duck/pork/fish that taste too much like its meat. (ridiculous? but i bet there's like-minded follwers out there. and then the bf will go " great minds like a think" and give a smirk! :P
3. souffle
4. sweet dessert wines (gives me a not-kidding kind of headache!!!)
5. inferior chocolates pissed me off (someone gonna get a hurt real bad; if u give me I.C. -RP)
currently listening to david tao. he is SOULFUL. i think i like him and lee jiu zhe equally.

Wed-new tuition girl.rest 30min,go for my tuition boy who gave me 1 green and 1 purple rose.got LED light one.damn sweet.
and i'm his HUN.established this after one year.since 020908.

Just came back from my first visit to ION. yummy brands everywhere.not so fab crowd though.in the end,i was more amazed by the "Wonder-mop"(if anyone as bo-liao as me,take notice of the cleaners who use a mop with special features.u'll know what i mean.lol.and go..."oh,no wonder the whole place smell like that..")
so anyways, i'm surprised that i didnt see chanel, christian laboutin and sale's marc jocobs.even more surprised that we didnt cover the ENTIRE shopping centre(wa lao eh.damn long neh say it in full.) and we were there for like 3 hours plus.KEE SIAO.
congrats my love. gotten ur all-time-want, LV bao bao.replace his A.B which stains the white shirt. eh-hem all u A.B lovers out there, the material is proven not once but twice therefore confirmed, that A.B quality is doubtful. *raise brows* JUST DONT GET THE PRICING OF A.B.
